Answer:

The value of m/n + n/m will be (c)-145 / 12

Step-by-step explanation:

m and n are the zeros of the polynomial 3x² + 11x - 4

Now,  3x² + 11x - 4 = 0

  By  Sridhar Acharya formula,  x ={ (-11) ± √(11² - 4×3×(-4))}/ 2×3

                                                       = {-11 ±√(121 +48 )}/6

                                                       = {-11 ± √169}/6

                                                       = (-11 ± 13)/ 6

                                                       = - 4 or 1/3

Without loss of generality let m = -4 and n = 1/3

∴ m/n + n/m = -12 + (-1/12)

                    = (-144-1)/12 = -145 / 12
