5x+3y=65 then,

substistute solutions in the equation

then,

5 \times m + 3(m + 1) = 65 \\ 5m + 3m + 3 = 65 \\ 8m = 62 \\ m = \frac{62}{8} = \frac{31}{4} \\ m + 1 = \frac{31}{4} + 1 \\ = \frac{35}{4}
