If m times the mth term of the A.P is equal to n times the nth term. Show that the (m+n)th term of an A.P is zero .

m th term of an ap = a+(m-1)d

n th term of an ap = a+(n-1)d

a+(m-1)d=a+(n-1)d. (ATQ)

m-1=n-1

m+n=0
