If male plant is 4n and female plant is 8n then what is the ploidy of their endosperm

Answer is 10n

For the formation of Endosperm sex nucleus of female (8n here) and 1 male gamete (2n here) will participate.

hence, ploidy of endosperm = 8n + 2n = 10n
