if mean and median of a data are in the ratio of 3:5,then find the ratio of median and mode

let the mean and median be 3x and 5x respectively.

now applying empirical formula,

3 Meadian = Mode + 2 Mean

3×5x = mode + 2×3x

15x= mode + 6x

mode = 9x

median : mode :: 5x : 9x :: 5:9

answer is 5:9
