Given,

Mean of 11 observations =75

Mean of first 6=72

Mean of last 6=78

#Sum of observations= 75×11

=825

#Sum of first 6 observations=72×6

=432

#Sum of last 6 observations=78×6

=468

#Sixth observation=432+468-825

=900-825

=75.

Therefore,

6th term = 75.
