If N/10 50 ml H₂SO₄, N/3 30 ml HNO₃, N/2 10 ml HCl is mixed

and solution is made to 1L. Then normality of resultant

solution is (c) N/50

- For H₂SO₄, N1 = 1/10 N, V1 = 50 ml

- For HNO₃, N2 = 1/3 N, V2 = 30 ml

- For HCl, N3 = 1/2 N, V3 = 10 ml

- For final solution, V = 1 litre = 1000 ml

- The normality equation is given as:

         N × V = N1  × V1 + N2 × V2 + N3 × V3

   N × 1000 = (1/10) × 50 + (1/3) × 30 + (1/2) × 10

               N = (5 + 10 + 5)/ 1000

               N = 20/1000

               N = 1/50 N

- So the correct answer is option (c)
