If N÷5 leaves a remainder of 4, then what could be the possible values of the one’s digit of N​

N divided by 5 leaves a remainder of 4

→ We know, A number divisible by 5 has Unit Digit 0 or 5.

⇒ Unit Digit of N=4 or 9

Also,

N divided by 2 leaves a remainder of 1

⇒ N is Odd Number.

∴ Unit Digit of N=9

N can be any number in the form 5a+4

therefore if a=1

N= 5a+4 = 9

if a=2

N= 5a+4 = 14

if a=3

N=5a+4 = 19

Therefore the ones digit will always be 4 or 9.
