Given :  n(AxB)=24, and n(P(B))=64,

To Find : n(A)

Solution:

n (P (B) ) = 64

Let say n(B)  = x

=> n(P (B)) = 2ˣ

n (P (B) ) = 64

Equating

=> 2ˣ = 64

=> 2ˣ = 2⁶

=> x = 6

=> n(B) = 6

n(A x B)  = n(A) x n(B)

n(A x B)   = 24

n(B) = 6

=> 24 = n(A) x  6

=> n(A)  = 4

n(A)  = 4
