actually, this is happening only because of religious beliefs. In hindu mythology, some animals like cow ,are assumed holy and cannot be eaten, whereas, other animals like hen or goat aren't supposed to be  holy. This is pure discrimination. I simply don't like any religion but, this is just disgusting.

and if you see, only eating COW is ILLEGAL!! and any other animal. This is the discrimination, or you can say, non-sense of the government.
