Answer:

The correct answer is 9/8

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the fraction be  \frac{x}{y}

According to question,
⇒x+20%x/y-10%y = 3/2

⇒ x+x/5 / y-y/10 = 3/2

⇒  6x/5 / 9y/10 = 3/2

\frac{x}{y} = \frac{3}{2} *\frac{9}{10} *\frac{5}{6} .  = \frac{9}{8}

∴ The original value of the fraction is \frac{9}{8}

It is better to check the answer once done as follows:
Taking \frac{x}{y} as \frac{9}{8} ,

9+ 20/100*9/ 8-10%8 = 3/2
9+ 9/5 / 8-10%8 = 3/2
54/5 / 36/5 = 3/2
54/5 x 5/36 = 3/2
6/4 = 3/2
Which when simplified becomes,
3/2 = 3/2
∴ Verified
Hope this helps!
