According to the Question

It is given that object change its velocity every 5 seconds .

  • v = 5m/s
  • v = 10m/s
  • v = 15m/s
  • Time taken in every case ,t = 5 s

Displacement for First Case

→ S = 5×5 = 25m

Displacement for second case

→ S = 10×5 = 50m

Displacement for third case

→ S = 15×5 = 75 m

Now calculating average velocity

Average Velocity = Total Displacement/Total Time

by putting the value we get

➻ Average Velocity = S₁ + S₂ + S₃ /t

➻ Average Velocity = 25+50+75/15

➻ Average Velocity = 150/15
