Here your answer goes

Given ,

p(x) ax^2 - 3 ( a - 1) x - 1

Put 1 in place of x

p(1) = 0 = a1^2 - 3 (a - 1) 1 -1

a - 3a + 3 - 1 = 0

2 = 2a

a = 1
