GOOD QUESTION...
THANKS FOR ASKING...
LET'S FIRST SEE IT'S ROLE IN OUR BODY...
The kidneys are a pair of bean-shaped organs on either side of your spine, below your ribs and behind your belly. Each kidney is about 4 or 5 inches long. We've 2 kidneys.
IT'S ROLE...
They help the body pass waste as urine. They also help filter blood before sending it back to the heart. The kidneys perform many crucial functions, including: ... creating hormones that help produce red blood cells, promote bone health, and regulate blood pressure.
NOW COMING TO YOUR QUES.
YES,people can live without 1 kidney.
In general, most people with a single, healthy kidney have few problems. However, some long term problems have been seen in some people.
In some people who were born with a single kidney, or had a kidney removed during childhood, there is a chance of some slight loss in kidney function later in life. This usually takes 25 years or more to happen. There may also be a chance of having high blood pressure later in life. However, the loss in kidney function is usually very mild, and life span is normal. Most people with one kidney live healthy, normal lives with few problems.
NOW THE QUESTION ARRIVES...
Hðw Ððê§ hê lïvê??
BECAUSE BOTH KIDNEYS DO SAME WORK.AND IF ONE IS REMOVED THEN TOO WE'VE ONE OF THEM WHICH WORKS.HENCE WE LIVE BUT SOMETIMES THERE MAY BE SOME OR THE OTHER PROBLEMS TO SOME PEOPLE AND THEY NEED TO GO TO DOCTOR IN SOME PERIOD OF TIME.
(Pls. don't confuse between removed and donate ...because it is the same of removing it from your body.Removing may be because it has stopped working or so.Donating ka to give a person who don't have any of them.In donating too the person lives by the same way)I know you're getting confused read and understand.
HOPE IT HELPS YOU...
