Mass of one mole of carbon atom=12g
1 mole of a carbon contains 6.023×10^23 atoms
Hence, mass of 6.023×10^23 atoms of carbon=12g
Mass of 1g of atom=?
= 12/6.023×10^23
= 1.99×10^-23g
Mass of one atom of carbon = 1.99×10^-23
