Other angles of parallelogram are 60° , 120° and 60°.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given:-

  • One angle of parallelogram is 120°.

To find:-

  • Measure of other angles.

Solution:-

Let, Opposite angle of 120° be ∠1.

And adjacent angles of 120° be ∠2 and ∠3.

We know that,

Sum of two adjacent angles of parallelogram is 180°.

So,

➝ 120° + ∠2 = 180°

➝ ∠2 = 180° - 120°

➝ ∠2 = 60°

We also know that,

Opposite angles of parallelogram are equal.

So, ∠1 = 120°.

And ∠2 = ∠3 = 60°.

Therefore,

Other angles of parallelogram are 60° , 120° and 60°.

Correct question :

  • If one of the angles of a parallelogram is 120°, find the measurement of the other angles?

Given :

  • If one of the angles of a parallelogram is 120°, find

To find :

  • the measurement of the other angles

Solution :

ABCD is a parallelogram in which ∠A = 120°

∠A = ∠C [opposite angles of the parallelogram]

∠C= 120°

∠A +∠B = 180° [Adjacent angles]

120° +∠B= 180

∠B = 180° - 120°

∠B = 60°

∠B = ∠D [Opposite angles of a parallelogram ]

60° = ∠D

∠D= 60°.
