  • Find the length of other parallel side.

{\mapsto{\sf{  \frac{1}{2}  \times Sum \:  of  \: parallel  \: sides  \times height}}}

{\mapsto{\sf{ \frac{1}{2}  \times (48 + x) \times 25 = 900}}}

{\mapsto{\sf{48 \times 25 + 25x = 900 \times 2}}}

{\mapsto{\sf{48 \times 25 + 25x = 1800}}}

{\mapsto{\sf{1200 + 25x = 1800}}}

{\mapsto{\sf{25x = 1800  - 1200}}}

{\mapsto{\sf{25x = 600}}}

{\mapsto{\sf{x =  {\cancel\frac{600}{25} }}}}

{\blue{\longrightarrow{\red{\boxed{\bf{X = 24}}}}}}

The other parallel side is 24cm.
