AREA OF PARALLELOGRAM= BASE (CORRESPONDING SIDE) × CORRESPONDING HEIGHT

THEREFORE

accordingly to the question

576sq.cm=2.4× altitude

altitude=(576/2.4)cm

hence altitude=240 cm
