let one zero be alpha

then oother will be 1/alpha

we know,

alpha.1/alpha=k/3

1=k/3

=k=3

Step-by-step explanation:

if one root is c then the other root is 1/c. Substitute c and 1/c in

3 {x}^{2} + 8x + k = 0

3 {c}^{2} + 8c + k = 0

and

 \frac{3}{ {c}^{2} } +  \frac{8}{c} + k = 0 =  >

Multiply by c square then

3 + 8c + k {c}^{2}  = 0

Compare both these equations then we get c=>3. Hope it helps you.
