p(x) = 3x2 - 10x + p ( I suppose that by 2 you meant square)
now 1/3 is a zero polynomial, that means it divide the polynomial perfectly.
now using remainder theoram
p(1/3) = 3 (1/3)2 - 10(1/3) +p = 0
1/3 - 10/3 = -p
-3 = -p or p = 3

3x∧2-10x+p=p(1/3)

as it is one zero of the polynomial, the remainder weill be zero..

3(1/3)∧2-10(1/3)+p=0

3(1/9)-10/3+p=0

1/3-10/3=-p

-9/3=-p

p=3
