Let p ( x ) = x^2 - x - 2 ( 2 + 2k )
So p ( - 4 ) = 0
p ( - 4 ) = x^2 - x - ( 2 + 2k )
》0 = ( - 4 )^2 - ( - 4 ) - 2 - 2k
》0 = 16 + 4 - 2 - 2k
》2k = 18
》K = 18/2
》k = 9
So the value of the k is 9
