Step-by-step explanation:

 {5z}^{2}  + 13z - p = 0

now a=5 b=13 and c=-p

now

 \alpha . \beta  =  \frac{c}{a}

 \alpha . \beta  =  \frac{-p}{5}

there fore the reciprocal of each other

there fore the product must be one

 \frac{ - p}{5}  = 1

p=-5
