if oxygen is present in water in dissolved form, why do we have to keep oxygen machine in fish tank?

mokshitgarg000pcrd3t: beacuse fishes present in fish tank utilise that dissolved oxygen and at a point that oxygen get finished hence more oxygen needs to be added and a oxygen regulator is added
anushaabagade: thanks

Low oxygen levels are rarely a problem if aquarium is well maintained  and not overstocked. However, if your fish are gasping at the surface of the water, it should set off a red flag prompting further investigation. Here is what to look for, and how to fix it.

Because fish tank is not a part of natural ecosystem so if the dissolved oxygen is use by aquatic animals then there will be no dissolved oxygen left in fish tank (due to the lack of organisms that increase oxygen level of water through their biological process). That's why oxygen machine is required.
