if p+2q =18 and pq=40 find 2/p+1/q​

Answer:

p+2q = 18

pq = 40

multiply denominator

2/p + 1/q = (2×q + 1×p) / pq

= (2q + p) / pq

= 18 / 40

= 9 / 20
