QUESTION,

if p=4, q= -3 and r=2, find the value of : p³+q³-r³-3pqr

Answer,

Given,

P=4, q =-3 and r =2

Substituting these values in given polynomial

p³+q³-r³-3pqr,

 {4}^{3}  + ( { - 3})^{3}   - ( {2}^{3} ) - ({3 \times 4 \times ( - 3) \times 2})

64 - 27 - 8 - ( - 72)

64 - 27 - 8 + 72

37 - 8+ 72

Solution :-

→ p³ + q³ - r³ - 3pqr

putting p = 4, q = -3 and r = 2 we get,

→ (4)³ + (-3)³ - (2)³ - 3 * 4 * (-3) * 2

→ 64 + (-27) - 8 + 72

→ 64 + 72 - (27 + 8)

→ 136 - 35

101 (Ans.)

Hence, required value is equal to 101 .
