 p + q =  \frac{ - b}{a}  =  \frac{7}{2}  \\ pq =  \frac{c}{a}  =  \frac{3}{2}  \\  {p}^{2}  +  {q}^{2}  =  {(p + q)}^{2}  - 2pq \\  \frac{49}{4}  - 3 \\  =  \frac{37}{4}
