If P is pressure and p is density of a gas, then P and p are related as: a) P is proportional to p b) P is proportional to p^2 c) P is proportional to 1/p d) P is proportional to 1/p^2

According to ideal gas law PV/T = const, where P - pressure, V - volume, T - temperature. V = m/p, where m - mass and p - density. So Pm/pT=const. P = p*T*const/m. So P is propotional to p . The answer is a).
