Answer:

p square + q square = (p+q) (p square + q square - pq)

                                 = (12) {(p + q) whole square - 2(pq) - 22}

                                 = (12) {(12) square - 2(22) - 22}

                                 = (12) { 144 - 44 -  22 }

                                 = (12) ( 144 - 66)

                                 = 12 X 78

                                 = 936
