GIVEN THAT,

p(x) = 2x+3

then,

p(1) = 2(1)+3

     =2+3

      = 5

p(3) = 2(3)+3

      = 6+3

      = 9

p(-3) = 2(-3)+3

        = -6+3

        = -3

p(-1) = 2(-1)+3

        = -2+3

        = 1
