Given:-

p(x) = 3x² - 2x + 1

To find:-

  • p(-1)
  • p(0)
  • p(1)

SOLUTION :-

Lets find one by one

p(x) = 3x² - 2x + 1

p(-1) that means we have Substitute - 1in place of x then we get value of p(-1)

p(-1) = 3(-1)² -2(-1) + 1

p(-1) = 3(1) + 2(1) + 1

p(-1) = 3 + 2 + 1

p(-1) = 6

p(x) = 3x² - 2x + 1

We have to find p(0) that means we have to substitute 0 in place of x then we get value of p(0)

p(0) = 3(0)² -2(0) + 1

p(0) = 3(0) -2(0) + 1

p(0) = 0 -0 +1

p(0) = 1

We have to find p(1) that means we have to substitute 1 in place of x then we get value of p(1)

p(1) = 3(1)² -2(1) + 1

p(1) = 3(1) -2(1) + 1

p(1) = 3 -2 +1

p(1) = 4-2

p(1) = 2
