Given :-

p(x) = 5x³ - x² + 3x + 4

To Find :-

The value of p(-2) + p(3).

Solution :-

For calculating further, we must substitute the value of x with (-2) and 3.

p(-2) + p(3) = 5(-2)³ - (-2)² + 3(-2) + 4 + [5(3)³ - (3)² + 3(3) + 4]

⇒ p(-2) + p(3) = (5 × -8)  -4 - 6 + 4 + (135 - 9 + 9 + 4)

⇒ p(-2) + p(3) = -40 - 4 - 6 + 4 + 135 + 4

⇒ p(-2) + p(3) = -46 + 139

⇒ p(-2) + p(3) = 93
