hey mate!!

the answer is...

the remainder will be b/a using remainder theorem..
ax - b = 0
ax = b
x = b/a

Hello,

If p(x) is divided by (ax-b),

Then, ax-b = 0,
=> ax = b,
=> x = b/a .....will be the remainder.....
