What are the steps taken by the UNO on world peace

UNO tries to maintain world peace by United Nations Security Council.  Its main objective is to control the peacekeeping forces and send special peacekeeping forces to war affected areas.  It also tries to prevent the conflict between two countries by sending mediators who use diplomatic methods.  General Assembly and the Secretariat help in protecting human rights violations around the globe.
