Given that ,

P ( X ) = X^2 - 5 X - 6

P ( -3 ) =

(-3)^2 - 5 (-3) - 6

9 + 15 - 6

\textbf{Solution:}

p(x) = x {}^{2} - 5x - 6 \\ \\ p( - 3) = ( - 3) {}^{2} - 5 \times ( - 3) - 6 \\ \\ p( - 3) = 9 + 15 - 6 \\ \\ p( - 3) = 9 + 9 \\ \\ p( - 3) = 18

\textbf{Thank you!!}

DevilDoll12: it should be 18
