Your Question Is little confusing but do not mind I am trying:-

Given;

p(X) = x²+5x-4

Therefore;

p(1) = (1)²+5(1)-4 = 1+5-4 = 6-4 = 2

HOPE IT WAS HELPFUL

Step-by-step explanation:

p(x) -x² + 5x - 4 = 0

-x² + (4x+x) - 4 = 0

-x²+x + 4x-4= 0

-x(x-1) + 4(x-1)= 0

(x-1) (-x+4)= 0

I.e; x= 1

x=4

putting value on p(1-p[1])

(-1)²+5(1)-4 -[(-1)²+5(1)-4])

(6-4 - [6-4])

(2 -[2]) =0
