if p(x) = x⁴ + 3x²-x, find p(1/2), p(1/3) and p(2/3)​

p(x) =x⁴+3x²-x

p(1/2) =(1/2) ⁴+3(1/2) ²-(1/2)

=1/4+3/4-1/2

=1/2

p(1/3) =(1/3) ⁴+3(1/3) ²-(1/3)

=1/9+3/9-1/3

=1/9

p(2/3) =(2/3) ⁴+3(2/3) ²-(2/3)

=4/9+12/9-2/3

=10/9
