P(1) = (1) cube - 3(1) square +2(1)-3
= 1-3+2-3
= - 3
P(-1)= (-1) cube - 3(-1) square +2(-1) - 3
= - 1 - 3 - 2-3
= - 9

p(x) = {x}^{3} - 3 {x}^{2} + 2x - 3
Therefore,
p(1) = {1}^{3} - 3 (1)^{2} + 2(1) - 3 \\ = 1 - 3 + 2 - 3 = - 3
p( - 1) = ({ - 1})^{3} - 3 ({ - 1})^{2} + 2( - 1) - 3 \\ = - 1 - 3 - 2 - 3 \\ = - 9
