The given question is p(y) =y²-y+1

We have to find the value of p(3)

for p(3) sub the value 3 in the places of y in the equation p(y) =y²-y+1 , we get

p(3) = {3}^{2} - 3 + 1

p(3) = 9 - 3 + 1

p(3) = 10 - 3 \\ p(3) = 7

on substituting the 3 in the places of y we get the final answer as 7.

Therefore, the value of p(3) = 7
