If pen is coded as 35 and lot is coded as 28 then how ball is coded?

Here, If A is denoted by 1, B by 2, C by 3, D by 4 ..... and Z by 26,

Then,

• P = 16
• E = 5
• N = 14

P + E + N = 16 + 5 + 14 = 35

Now,

• L = 12
• O = 15
• T = 20

L + O + T = 12 + 15 + 20 = 47

Similarly,

• B = 2
• A = 1
• L = 12
• L = 12

B + A + L + L = 2 + 1 + 12 + 12 = 27

∴, Ball is coded as 27.......
