42 = 2x + 3x/2

42 = 4x /2 + 3x/2

42=7x/2

transposing 2 to LHS

42*2=7x

transposing  to LHS

42*2/7=x

x=12 units

So, the dimensions of the triangle are 12 units, 12 units and 18 units
