The answer is option (b)ordinate is 6 or y=6

-In the carteasian coordinate system, if a point is 6 units from x axis, then its generally denoted by (x,6) or (x,-6)

-The question says its 6 units along poitive direction of y axis,

therefore its (x,6)

-The question doesn't mention anything about the distance from y axis ,

so we cant fix the value of abcissa.

-All points represented as (x,6) is given by y=6

therefore we have ordinate is 6
