The pressure experienced will be higher for A and lower for B.

For any body the pressure experienced by it is the weight per unit area of the particle above it.

For A ,

  • It is going towards the center of the earth through sea .
  • In sea, it is the weight per unit area of the water above A.
  • As A goes deeper and deeper, amount of water above his head increases.
  • Therefore, weight of water also increase.
  • This further increases the pressure of water above A.

For B,

  • It is going towards space.
  • In air , weight of air molecules above B will exert the pressure.
  • As B goes upper, amount of air molecules above him will decreases.
  • Therefore,  smaller weight will be acting on B.
  • Hence pressure experienced by B will also be smaller.
