If petrol, disel etc.. catches fire one should never try to extinguish it using water. why.​

Besides, the existing temperature is so high that the water poured on the fire evaporates even before it can extinguisher the fire. ... Thus the petrol fire cannot be extinguished by water.

petrol and diesel are oils if any oil catches fire one should never try to extinguish it with water because fire will be double if you try to extinguish it with water.
