Answer: mark as brainliest if it helpes
If pH of a solution is = 2, then its Hydrogen ion Concentration [H+]= 10^-2= 0.01N. However Molarity differs from normality.
In general Molarity= n x Normality, where N= basicity of the acid. ie it represents the number of replaceable or acid Hydrogen atoms present in the acid molecule.
If the acid is monobasic, then Molarity= Normality. In this case Molarity= 0.0001M.
If the acid is dibasic, then Molarity= 2 x Normality. Then the Molarity= 0.01/2= = 5 x 10^-3 M.
