a8+a10=24, then a9=?

A8=a+7d
A10=a+9d
A9=a+8d
A8+A10=2a+16d
24=2a+16d
12=a+8d
A9=12

a+7d+a+9d=24
2a+16d=24

a+8d=12

Therefore, a9 is 12
