if pq =6 and p+q =5 then find the value of p2+q2

p^2+q^2=(p+q) ^2- 2×pq
=5^2-2×6
=25-12
=13

pq = 6

p + q = 5

(p+q)² = p²+q²+2pq

p²+q² = (p+q)²-2pq

p²+q² = (5)²-2(6)

(p+q = 5 and pq = 6)

p²+q² = 25-12

→ = 13
