Since it is an incomplete and open ended question, the sides of triangles may possess the following properties:

1)the sum of two sides of a triangle is always grater than the third

Eg.-

r+s>t

r+t>s

t+s>r

2) If the triangle is right angled, then the Pythagoras theorem can very well apply to it

r²+s²=t²

3) if all the three sides are equal, then the given triangle is equilateral.

4) if two of the sides are equal, then the triangle is equilateral

5) if all sides are different, then the given triangle is isosceles

6) area of the given triangle by heron's formula will be-

\sqrt{<em>S</em>(<em>S</em>-r)(<em>S</em>-s)(<em>S</em>-t)}

where, S is the semi perimeter of the triangle

7) all the sides are inclined at an acute angle.

8) in a right angled triangle, two sides are inclined at 90°
