Hello friend,

\huge\underbrace\mathcal\pink{here \: is \: your \: answer}

Money spent of book = 2/5 of Rs. 100

⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀= Rs. (2/5 × 100)

⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀= Rs. 40

Money spent on pens = 1/5 of Rs. 100

⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀= Rs. (1/5 × 100)

⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀= Rs. 20

Total money which was spent = Rs. (40+20)

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀= Ra. 60

Remaining money = Rs. (100-60)

⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀= Rs. 40

Hence, the shopkeeper will return Rs. 40

Hope this helps ✌✌✌
