We use the compound interest formula:

A = P (1 +  \frac{R}{100} )^{n}

Where:

A = Amount

P = Principal

R =  Rate

n = Number of years

324.48 = P(1 + 4/100)²

324.48 = 1.0816P

P = 324.48/1.0816

P = 300

The correct answer is:

(a) Rs.300

Solution:-

given by:-
Amount (A)= 324.48
year(n)= 2
rate(r) = 4%
princial amount(p) = ?
by \: formul \:  \\ A = p( 1+ \frac{R}{100} )^n \\ 324.48 = p(1 +  \frac{4}{100})^2 \\ 324.48 = p {(1 +  \frac{1}{25} )}^{2}  \\ 324.48 = p {( \frac{26}{25} )}^{2}  \\ p =  \frac{324.48 \times 625}{676}  \\ p = 300 \\
your right answer is option(a) 300.
