If red colour has largest wavelength than why school buses are coloured in yellow beside red colour??

lateral peripheral vision of detecting yellow is 1.24 times greater than it is for red.
So yellow can be detected easily than red

means simply detection of motion or moving objects like that
but what about the concept of wavelength is it not applicable here?
it means it has highest possibility of visibility
but in motion it is less visible that yellow
